We provide advanced spinal correction and chiropractic adjustments utilizing “state of the art” chiropractic techniques. Never in the history of chiropractic care have chiropractors been able to provide the level of pain relief and expertise that is available today. Many of the newest chiropractic techniques are actually safer, more comfortable and more effective than ever before. As a chiropractor who cares about utilizing the most advanced chiropractic techniques, Dr. Justin Snider has years of training, expertise and experience in helping patients get pain relief for back pain, neck pain, headaches, and other related conditions originating from the spine. Chiropractic care under a trained professional can even be used to prevent injuries and help you achieve total health or wellness.
At ProHealth Center, we teach our patients how to perform special “blueprint” exercises which can help strengthen and correct the irregularities in their body which may be causing pain. Many of these corrective exercises can actually be performed in the comfort of your own home to help improve the effectiveness of your chiropractic care and spinal correction plan. In addition to skeletal misalignment, you may be experiencing pain that is caused by muscles and connective tissues which are out of their proper place. Other types of pain such as back pain, neck pain, and headaches are caused by muscles and tissues that are being used improperly, causing injuries over time. In each case, targeted corrective exercises and stretches from our experienced chiropractor will help you feel good while also helping your body achieve balance and health.
SPINAL & POSTURAL SCREENING
There is a saying that an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. Your spinal health is no exception. Posture and spinal screenings by a trained and experienced chiropractor such as Dr. Justin Snider can help reveal important health information, unlocking the door to improved health and pain relief. In order to help the Laurens community, we provide screenings at area malls, community events, health fairs and places of employment. Contact us today at (864) 681-0555 to arrange a screening at your event or workplace.
Digital refers to the process of capturing a radiographic image using a sensor and then rendering that image on a computer. The technology has come a long way from traditional x-ray with film and view boxes, and allows our practitioners to zoom, rotate and control image density. The results are available on-screen within seconds for the doctor to analyze and review with patients.
Digital radiography is quick, accurate, and produces a high quality image. Some of the other practical benefits of digital radiography include:
Safety: Digital systems expose patients to 90% less radiation than conventional x-rays
Environmental Impact: By eliminating the use of water and chemicals necessary for film processing, digital x-ray systems are more environmentally friendly as compared to traditional x-ray
Portable: Easy to send through email, digital x-ray results can be shared among healthcare professionals to better assist the patient.
Phase 1: Relief Care
If you are in pain when you come into our office, the first objective is to help you feel better. Depending on the severity of your problem, it is typical to need care two to three times per week for four to 12 weeks.
Phase 2: Corrective/Restorative Care
During the corrective care phase, muscles and other tissues are allowed to heal more completely, thereby helping prevent injury. It is typical to need care four to eight times per month for six to 24 months, depending on your overall health and the severity of your problem.
Phase 3: Wellness Care
Once your body has fully healed, it is important to come in for periodic adjustments to avoid problems in the future. Usually, this only requires a quick visit to the chiropractor one to four times per month, based on your lifestyle and goals.
After your consultation, Dr. Justin Snider will perform a complete chiropractic examination testing your reflexes and flexibility. Other standard neurological, orthopedic, postural, and physical tests will be performed as well. However, nothing will be done in our office without your consent.
Depending on your specific condition, we may take X-rays as well. X-rays help us develop the most effective treatment plan for you, and alert us of any serious spinal conditions. Most people are amazed once they see their X-rays up close. In some cases, they can even identify their misalignments and degeneration themselves.
Report of Findings
Once the information is collected and examinations are performed, Dr. Justin Snider will give you a detailed report of all findings and answer any questions including:
- How can you help me?
- How often do I need to come in?
- What will my treatment cost?
After reviewing your health history, goals, and examining your spine and X-rays, Dr. Justin Snider will discuss recommendations and notify you if your condition requires care with other providers. Dr. Justin Snider will provide the best treatment and wellness program for your needs.
Prior to leaving, the doctor will suggest a wellness program to incorporate outside of treatment. If you are in pain when you first come into our office this may include: ice or heat application instructions, certain activities or positions to avoid, and at home exercises and/or stretches. If you desire, our wellness team will work with you also to create healthy habits and routines for your lifestyle. Every person is unique, therefore everyone requires a customized wellness plan. The purpose of our wellness program is for you to achieve good spinal alignment, have a healthy diet, exercise, and maintain a positive mental state.
